MEET THE TEAM
Bertrand Hardy is the Managing Director of Port Louis Marine Export Ltd, Yacht Management Ltd, Blue Alize Ltd & Croisieres Australes Ltd. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Cape Technikon, South Africa as well as a Diploma in Yacht & Small Craft Surveying, International Institute of Marine Surveying, UK. He is a Professional skipper & coastal navigation, RCYC and SA Merchant Navy Academy and has worked as professional skipper/crew on various power and sailing yachts in the Indian & Atlantic Oceans, Mediterranean and Caribbean. He worked as designer/draughtsman and project engineer with Silberbauer Engineering & Denith Engineering in South Africa between 1987 & 1988. He was the General manager of Grande Riviere Marine Export Ltd and Managing director of Grande Riviere Slipways between 1990 and 1992.
Laurent Hardy holds a ‘’Bachelor of Commerce’’ from Curtin University of Western Australia. He also holds a certificate in ‘Safety Training’ (Seagoing qualifications) issued under the provisions of the international convention on standards of training, certification and watchkeeping for seafarers from Fremantle training centre in Western Australia. He started his career at Dream Boat luxury motor Yachts in Perth, to then join Yacht Management Ltd in 2010.
Laurent is also a Director on the board of Yacht Management since 2014.
Receptionist and planning coordinator
Cloé is a well determined person who has proven herself in various tasks. She has a good background in administration, and does a very good job as a planning officer and receptionist within Yacht Management today.
Omi Adjodah has been involved with the Tourism industry for over 20 years. Having completed a Higher National Certificate in Travel and Tourism in James Watt College, Scotland, he decided to return to Mauritius. Having started at the rock bottom of the industry, working as a handyman for a Marine Conservation NGO, The Shoals Of Capricorn Program from 1999- 2010, he quickly developed a passion for the ocean and started his training as a Scuba Diver. He eventually moved up the different levelsand acquired profound experiences in Scuba Diving to become a PADI IDC Staff Instructor. Omi had set up diving centres and Boat Houses in various Resorts around Mauritius and has some 14,000 dives under his belt. A passionate of the ocean, and customer satisfaction oriented. Omi has now been appointed as Operations Manager at Yacht Management.
